Project Description
The City Share founders envisioned a social travel network that lets you easily save and share your favorite locations, and collects suggestions from your friends that you can take with you on your travels.
How we solved it
Our approach
The goal was to have a demo version of their App in two weeks, because the team had been invited to present at the Web Summit conference in Dublin. They were invited by Stone Soup to come over to Athens, Greece with the clear goal of creating a working minimum viable product (MVP) before their plane back to Amsterdam took off. Everything was provided: lodging, a place to work, food and office supplies.
By the end of the second week, they were able to get a basic version ready to demonstrate and release to testers. Siemen from Big Nerd Ranch wrote a blogpost about the pressure cooker experience.
The app was launched in the Dutch app store in May 2014.
