Braintree, a Paypal company is the main organizer behind a series of hackathons taking place in 14 different cities worldwide.

The winners of each city will compete in November at The BattleHack World Finals that will take place at PayPal Headquarters in Silicon Valley. The big winner will receive a $100,000 USD grand-prize.

The 2-day hackathon is happening for the first time in Greece this May and is a great opportunity for local coders, designers and creatives to hack and build an application that incorporates the PayPal, Braintree or Venmo APIs. Hacks that include an element of social good are strongly encouraged. The winning team will be awarded with the BattleHack axe and will be one of the 14 to travel to Silicon Valley to participate in the finals.
